pg_docs_bot: Redirects PostgreSQL docs links to the current version

pg_docs_bot is a Chrome extension developed by michristofides that aims to solve the annoyance of outdated PostgreSQL documentation links. When searching for Postgres related information, it is common to come across links to old versions of the documentation. Similarly, answers on sites like Stack Overflow often point to outdated documentation.

This extension redirects these links to the current version, saving users the trouble of manually selecting the "Current" option. Additionally, it displays a notice after redirecting, including a link to the page the user was redirected from. By doing so, it helps users avoid reading an entire page before realizing it is an old version or not realizing it at all.

pg_docs_bot also avoids redirecting deprecated features to prevent 404 errors. It doesn't redirect when coming from another page in the documentation, allowing users to still check old versions if needed.

Please note that pg_docs_bot only supports redirecting to the "current" version of the documentation. It works for the English language docs and supports version 7.0 links upwards. The Chrome extension is limited to a specific list of search engines and Stack Exchange sites to ensure privacy and security.

If you have any feature ideas, bug reports, or contributions, you can find them listed on GitHub. The developer welcomes feedback and contributions to improve the extension.
